Additional Information
IP addressing—Network address translation (NAT) with one fixed public IP address and 253 usable private IP addresses, or five fixed public IP addresses; additional fixed IP addresses are available for an additional fee.
Web hosting—Includes 10 MB of space at the Covad.net domain (home.covad.net/username). Covad can also host your company's web domain for you (www.yourcompany.com) for an additional fee.
Email—Includes 15 POP3 email accounts and free webmail at the Covad.net domain. Email with your own domain name (yourname@yourcompany.com) is available for an additional fee.
Professional installation—Professional site survey and installation by a Covad technician and local phone company technician.
My Covad Account—Easily manage your account and billing information online.¹
NOTE: A $35 activation fee will be applied to all new orders for Covad broadband services. This fee helps Covad recover some of the administrative costs incurred in processing your order.

Service Level Agreements

At Covad, we stand behind our promise of uncompromising quality by providing service level agreements (SLAs) on our business-class services. Our SLAs mean that you can focus on your business, not your Internet connection.

  • Fast installation time—If Covad does not install your order within 45 calendar days of placing your order for Business DS3, you are eligible for a credit equal to 50% of your first month's service fees.
  • Service availability—We target monthly service availability of 99.99%. You will be eligible for a credit for every hour of downtime beyond our target. Please review the Covad Customer Policies for details.
  • Time to repair—In the event of a service outage, we will restore your service within four hours. If we do not, you will be eligible for a credit equal to 10% of your monthly service fees.
  • Network delivery—Each month, Covad targets to deliver successfully 99.9% of all data packets sent to or from your location. If we miss this target in a given calendar month, you will be eligible for a credit of up to 10% of your monthly service fee.
  • Network delay—Covad targets to transmit all data between your location and the Internet with a monthly average of 70 milliseconds for the round trip. You are eligible for a credit of up to 10% of your monthly service fees if we do not meet this monthly target.

The Cisco 2821 ATM WAN router has two LAN ports and a single T3/E3 ATM port. A one-year warranty is included.
